Fire Company Officer Course CFD Captain Mike Kirby (ret.) Four day in person class (classroom only) hosted by The Blue Ash Firefighters Local 3203, located at base of The Summit Park Tower in the event room, taught by retired Cincinnati Fire Department Fire Captain Mike Kirby. This is not an NFPA Fire Officer Course! The Fire Company Officer program is a multiday course provides insight into duties and provides motivation to succeed moving forward, covering topics such as trust and expectations, buddy & boss relationships, decision making and communications, training, building construction, team building, engine & truck company operations and fireground survival and operations. This course will prepare students to become better officers on the fireground, whether already an officer or aspiring to be a company level officer, this course will give you the knowledge and motivation to be the best.
