Mezcal Winter Camp - Week 5: All the Stuff Lou Loves Mezcal Winter Camp - Week 5Thursday, February 25, 6:00 - 7:30 PM Lou Bank is one of the hosts of the Agave Road Trip podcast and founder of SACRED, a USA-based, 501c3 not-for-profit that uses traditional and artisanal agave spirits from rural Mexico to help improve the quality of life in the communities where those agave spirits are made. He travels extensively, tastes agave spirits frequently, and is always looking for and talking about his favorite expressions, as well as the families and communities that make them. Week 5 will feature some of Lou's favorite mezcals, many of which are not available in the Pacific Northwest, and had to be procured from across the U.S. to assemble a tasting like no other. Just what Mezcal Winter Camp is all about - introducing mezcal enthusiasts to the vast world of agave spirits Mexico has to offer. Attendees will meet via Zoom and discuss different aspects of the world of agave spirits while tasting five specially selected spirits, each one a generous 50mL pour.
