Description

We have an immediate need for Full and Part Time employees at our Lakeland distribution center. Duties include but are not limited to: Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code Restock material in assigned bin location; or fill requisitions for materials and distribute items to designated delivery trucks Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together; package orders for shipping, pick up or truck delivery Measure, cut and package material Complete Material Movement paperwork Open boxes, crates, and other containers Examine stock for deterioration and defects, and reports findings Assist in counting of physical inventory Inspect Raymond fork lift daily for damages and report findings Load and operate Raymond fork-lifts; load trucks for next day deliveries Keep warehouse and work area organized at all times Comply with Company and OSHA policies; participate in safety and accident preventative meetings Wear safety equipment at all times MUST wear hardhat at all times during work hours Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Eastern Metal Supply is a Drug Free Workplace
