Responsibilities include:
Taking phone calls from current and potential tenants
Communicating with tenants and other facility associates or managers
Renting storage units - showing them units, helping them decide on what size they need, completing the lease contract, etc, insurance forms, and other documents required.
Property and facility upkeep - keep facility clean, weed removal, picking up trash, cleaning out abandoned units or junk that tenants leave behind, sweeping out units, repairs and maintenance of doors and locks, etc.
Collection of rent, fees, and other monies owed from customers
Doing lock checks to make sure all units are locked and secure, the unit doors are working
Sending invoices and late notices
Assisting customers in how to view their account and make payments online
Assisting in marketing the facility
Desired Skills:
Friendly personality with a customer service mentality
Enjoys working outside
Proactive and Independent
Sales over the phone and in person
Ability to quickly pick up on software and computer programs.
