Maintenance / Handyman needed

We are in need of an experienced "Handyman" or Maintenance person. Must be experienced and have own tools and transportation. A pick-up truck or van is preferable. This can be a "contract" position, but minimum earnings can be guaranteed. Skills should include, but not be limited to, carpentry, minor plumbing, minor electrical, etc. As a contractor, Workers Comp (or X-mpt status) along with Liability Insurance is needed. We are a residential property management company with need for an additional person to run service calls on a daily basis. With exception of serious HVAC and major plumbing issues, you need to be able to repair or replace most anything that breaks in a rental property. Having experience with floors (tile and vinyl planks) is needed, but carpet experience is not as we use a carpet company for all our carpet replacement. Compensation can be hourly or by the job/task/work-order. Can discuss compensation with a minimum weekly guarantee. We need someone who will be able to devote all or most of his time to our work orders. This could either start out as part-time and quickly lead to full time. In the future, could also lead to being our In-house Maintenance Supervisor. Will need verifiable references and they will be checked. We are a Drug Free Company. We have an immediate need.
