Luxury Property Management Company that has been in business for 20 years, has an immediate opening for a fulltime Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a portfolio of private luxury vacation homes from Fort Lauderdale to Deerfield Beach.. COMPENSATION INCLUDES: Competitive Salary Fourteen Days Paid Time Off (PTO) in the first year Bonuses JOB DESCRIPTION Candidates must be proficient in All phases of property maintenance, inspection punch lists and appliance repair. This candidate will inspect properties, perform preventative maintenance, prepare for occupancy, coordinate maintenance and coordinate with cleaning crew. Must be extremely detailed. Must have hands on experience in property management, property maintenance or hotel property maintenance. Must have good customer service skills to deal with vacation guests and owners. Some of the essential job functions: -Responding to minor repair calls from guests and owners on a daily basis. -Perform home inspections preoccupancy, post occupancy and create punch lists -Home Appliance repair - Preventative maintenance on homes. -Schedule outside vendors -Must have reliable vehicle -Deliver items to properties -Pool skimming (in between the contracted pool company day), turn heaters on, add water -Must be able to lift 100 Lbs or more -Must have the tools and equipment generally associated with the field of multi-family apartment maintenance, along with experience in using specific tools and equipment -Must possess some type of formal training or experience in the following areas: carpentry, light plumbing work, light electrical work, painting, refurnishing and cleaning, and air conditioning -Perform light electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc. - Perform light plumbing work, such as garbage disposal repair, clearing stoppages, repairing small leaks, replacing fittings, etc. -Perform replacement and repair of broken glass, tile, screens, window treatments and locks -Perform carpentry work, such as fitting doors, freeing windows, patching walls -Redecorate vacant units, including painting, cleaning of appliances, vacuuming and other related tasks required to prepare a unit for re-occupancy -Assist in custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, hosing down patios, skimming pools, cleaning patio furniture, clean bbq grills etc., -Must learn to use a phone app to record inspections and receive work orders. -Will need to be on call for emergency calls can do a rotating schedule with your Maintenance tech assistant. -Communicate effectively with co-workers, residents and vendors - Complete tasks assigned in a reasonable amount of time Weekends and holiday weeks are required as most arrivals are on Saturday. Work schedule would likely be Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon and Wednesday 40 hrs per week and off Tuesday and Thursday. May change week to week and alternate with one other maintenance tech/assistant that will report to you. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: -General Maintenance: 3 years -Maintenance Supervisor: 1 year -Apartment/hotel maintenance: 1 year ***Must live in East Broward County as we need someone that can respond quickly.***
