Etowah Baptist Church Ministry Opportunity Ministry Opportunity: Electric Guitar (Around 8-10 hours per week: 1 rehearsal day a week & 3 Worship Services) SALARY: Voluntary Position DESCRIPTION: Electric Guitar is responsible for the accompaniment of keyboard, piano and other musical instruments and/or vocals during rehearsals and worship services for EBC. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Is a member in good standing of EBC or another Christian Church and to be in full agreement with EBC’s statement of faith and covenant. 2. Is regarded as a professional musician. 3. Has an ability to work with all members of EBC Music Ministry, including the Pastor, Worship Leaders, Musicians, Children’s Director and Youth Director. 4. Has good presentation and demonstration of the spiritual gift of music. 5. Has excellent presence and performance of such gift. 6. Has the ability to play Modern Christian music and other Christian genres. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Play during all rehearsals, worship services and other performances. 2. Practice with band members, special singers and Praise Team. 3. Willing to travel to play as requested. 4. Other duties as assigned by the Worship Leader.
