PROBE RESEARCH NEEDS YOUR OPINIONS - $595 The purpose of this study is to collect video and photo images of the interior of buildings (for example, your kitchen layout or the type and style of floorings you have). The results of this study may be used to develop and improve products, such as software. These sessions will be held at your home. You will be paid an incentive of $595 if you qualify for the study! Sessions will be held from Monday – Saturday each week. During our visit, photographs and videos will be collected in several rooms in your home with different types of image capturing equipment. The visit will last up to 6 hours with approximately three members of our team attending your home. This is in order to help keep the study time brief for your convenience. Our team will work in groups and can briefly explain the study process upon arrival. Please assume that you or a friend/family assigned by you would need to be present to receive our team of researchers. We ask that after our team arrives, you leave the home/ business for the duration of the study (6 hours). – We do this to comply with mandated COVID precautions set in place for the protection of everyone involved! Prior to our visit we ask that you kindly cover anything in your home that might reveal your identity. The data is completely anonymous, so it will never be tied to your name or address. However, we need your help in doing this! Please cover any addresses (including mail), photographs, diplomas, prescription medications, etc. that might reveal your identity. Our staff will also do a walkthrough prior to taking photographs and videos to ensure this information is not in sight. We also ask that you secure any valuables in a way that makes you comfortable. If there are any rooms that you would like the team to avoid, you can let me know and we will be sure to keep out of these rooms. Additionally, as this is a research study, and for the protection of the data collection process we ask that if you do have any form of recording devices, sound or camera/video that these are turned off for the period of the visit.
