The Umbrella Arts Center is now registering for February Vacation Week @ Home. This program provides a wide variety of online class and workshop opportunities for students of all ages during February School Vacation. This is especially relevant as we are still in the midst of COVID-19, and with stay-at-home orders still in full effect, many students have very limited options for what they can do while at home during vacation week. The new vacation week offerings include courses in Painting, Drawing, and Fiber Arts, with unique programs such as Paint Mixology, Drawing Manga Traditions, Cartooning Afternooning, and Teddy Bear Sewing Project. The whole family can also enjoy Families Together, a three-day program that encourages both play and learning through Mixed Media. Course options are flexible and vary from single sessions to multi-day programs, allowing students to easily mix and match which courses they take. The Umbrella has also rolled out an expansive range of flexible @Home virtual classes and workshops in Visual, Performing and Nature arts for the rest of the Spring semester, starting March 1.
