Description
BURLINGTON, MA — Absentee ballot applications are available for the April 10 town election, Town Clerk Amy Warfield said Wednesday.
Currently, the expanded absentee voting used in 2020 elections expires on March 31, meaning absentee ballots will only be available for Burlington voters for the following reasons: absence from the voter's city or town during polling hours, disability, or religious beliefs.
The application is available here. Applications can be sent to the town clerk's office by mail, email or in person, to [email protected] or Town Clerk's Office, Ballot Request, 29 Center St, Burlington, MA 01803. Emailed applications must have a live signature.
Ballots will be available around March 15, Warfield said.
Residents interested in getting involved can still take out papers, through Feb. 17 at 5 p.m. Dozens of candidates have already taken out papers for townwide and representative town meeting seats.
The deadline to register to vote is March 19 for the April 10 election. You can check your registration status here.
The election will be held at the Burlington High School Gym, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Anyone with questions can call the Clerk's Office at 781-270-1660.
