Growing High-end Residential and Commercial Construction Firm based in Menlo Park is looking for a Journeyman Carpenter to join their team! First Project Details: - Kitchen and pantry remodel - Install exterior door and windows - Laundry Room Remodel - Drywall patching to ceiling Job Duties: - Take projects from foundation to finish - Read blue prints and perform layouts - Build/install windows, window trim, crown molding, baseboards, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or reconstructed items - Lead small crews on certain projects - Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated - Inspect work; Complete repairs and basic maintenance - Complete paperwork on occasion - Cover Driving Area from San Jose to SF (primarily around Menlo Park) Must Have: - 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Carpenter - Experience in all phases of a residential remodel - Experience running small crews - Highly proficient finish carpentry skills - Reliable vehicle (truck preferable) - Provide own tools - Exposure to estimating jobs is a PLUS Job Details: - Rate: $38 to $44/hour - Work Week: M to F - Start time: 8am - Overtime availability
