Grab your pod of gals & guys and choose an outdoor table under our tent for a "Pal"entine's Day like no other! We believe your Valentine's Day should be a weekend overflowing with every sort of love you can imagine & full of the safest pandemic shenanigans that you can find. Start your afternoon out with our in-person cocktail class. Yes! You heard it here first...we're gonna make serious use of this expert patio setup at Leavitt Street Inn & Tavern in the middle of Chicago winter! Tickets are available by table, rather than by individual seats. You may select a table with a maximum capacity of TWO or a table with a max capacity of SIX, then find members of your covid-safe pod to fill the seats. The event value is $85 per person, but you have to bring your "pals" to stay virus-free! Your group will be seated together, distanced from other tables and provided with all the tools and ingredients needed to participate in class. Furthermore, we are curating a local and female-focused list of small snacks for you while we get buzzed and learn things. The restrooms inside are accessible to all while wearing a mask. Together with instructor, Linda Dennison from Seyna Secreto, you will sip on a boozy bonus beverage to begin your Valentine's Day morning.(We're keeping this one a surprise!) We will highlight the enormous influences of women in the cocktail world during the time we have together. Audrey Saunders, a legendary mixologist and bar-owner, will serve as our main inspiration for building the EARL GREY MarTEAni, the signature drink of her New York bar, Pegu Club, which sadly closed its doors just a few months ago, in and as a result of this pandemic. We want to quietly honor Pegu Club and all the restaurants and bars that will not see the other side of this global chapter. During class we will break down the ingredients of the Early Grey MarTEAni, tasting a number of items along the way to understand the drink's construction. You will have the opportunity to take the lead and make some choices about your OWN cocktail as you use the instruction in class to make yourself a custom drink. Don't drink it all before we take a distanced group shot with a resounding CHEERS and a big "I love you!" Stay while you sip your creation for our neighborhood raffle and take your little party favor, a small gift we curated for you to enjoy at home. Additionally, we are proud to feature the strong women of local businesses in your party favor and in the raffle prizes you will win! You'll be automatically entered into the raffle by buying your ticket and taking part in class. Felt Chicago, a women's boutique in Logan Square and Chicago Maker's Pop-Up Shop will both be highlighted during cocktail class. Find us and all our partners on an Instagram near you!
