Gaithersburg Bank Robbed, Suspect Caught On Surveillance: Police

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Authorities have released surveillance photos of a suspect they say robbed a BB&T Bank in Gaithersburg last month. Around 1:04 p.m. on Jan. 29, Montgomery County police responded to the bank at 467 N. Frederick Ave. for the report of a robbery. An investigation by police determined that the suspect approached a teller and passed a note demanding cash and implying he was armed. The suspect fled the scene with cash, according to authorities. Anyone with additional information is asked to call police at 240-773-5100.
