Thank you for your interest in working with my new landscaping company Surfside Landscapes! -I'm gonna warn you before applying that this job is more like a gig and won't be very consistent to start, (given how new the company is) however it will be a good side hustle that pays cash at the end of each completed job, and hopefully you'll be able to learn a lot from the experience and so will I! Its a perfect job if you got laid off from COVID and your making government checks on the side and have plenty of free time or simply have a flexible schedule. Just don't rely on this to pay your rent! -However I do need you to be there when I call. I'll usually give about a 2 day heads up! -It will be on-call jobs, usually when I need help hauling, making supply runs, or when I need a second hand for carpentry jobs such as fences and garbage can enclosures. Some other qualities I'm looking for besides a hard worker are: -Experience in designing a landscape would be incredible, this is something I struggle with and could learn quite a bit from -A passion for plants and a strong respect for mother earth -A passion for reusing materials (this company has founded itself on using reclaimed materials that clients usually already have. Example: using old fence boards for a planter box. This is something no one else does! Reclaimed materials will also come from crates, driftwood, and random street corner finds that could go in a garden! -Common interests such as surfing, skating, art, getting sloshed after the works done are all a bonus -Positive mental attitude and willingness to learn and also teach Please reply with an email and give me -A little description of yourself -Your Age (I'm looking for someone in 21-27 range) -Why you'd be a good fit for the gig -Your experience with carpentry and gardening, both would be great!
