Reputable San Francisco Construction Company (High End Residential Remodels) seeks Lead Carpenter Job Description Candidates must have 2 years minimum experience with building homes in the San Francisco Bay Area. Responsible for coordination of a team architects, engineers, clients and subcontractors, from pre-construction activities collaborating with the estimating team, and field operations to develop construction strategies, budgeting to final. Conduct weekly production meetings with same, which requires the need to maintain appropriate communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong, positive personality supporting the project team. During the production phase; allocate appropriate staffing and coordination of subcontractors on the job site. Consistently updating the schedule for client and subcontractors; managing schedules daily & weekly scheduling of subcontractors and management. Resolve issues or concerns clients may have regarding budget, pricing, scope, timing or quality of work performed. Working with all members on the site; ensure all necessary permits, fees and inspections are pulled, scheduled, confirmed and signed off. Responsible for coordinating and ordering shop drawings, windows, doors, cabinets and hardware, creating and managing budgets on Excel software, negotiating change orders with client and subcontractors. - This position is full-time work. - Looking for self starters. - 40 Hours - Be reliable to work 8 hour days, 5 days a week until project completion. - Be on time daily - A plus if own tools.
