Description

Despite the challenges of a pandemic, the creative team at The Children's Center of Hamden is finding ways for children to have fun! Programs continue to be on-site while others are remote or offer a hybrid model. Last week, children in the Extended Day Treatment program (EDT) enjoyed a virtual visit to a wolf sanctuary in Minnesota, played "Detective" ( a remote game of tag) and were challenged by "Jeopardy". The EDT helps youth in grades K-12, diagnosed with behavioral health disorders, learn how to succeed in relationships, at school and in their homes. Lots of smiles are expected when each child will be surprised with a cookie delivery this week! (shh- don't tell!) The EDT meets Monday-Friday afterschool. For more information contact Katelyn at [email protected] . Parents concerned about how the pandemic has impacted their child are welcome to contact Katelyn. www.tccoh.org
