Grab your best recipes and get ready it's chili cook-off time! Individual entries are $25 or team/booth entries are $100. Rules below. 1. All ingredients must be pre-cooked and treated prior to the event – chili is to be brought ready to eat. 2. The entry fee is $25 for a table spot with one (1) chili entry and $100 entry fee for a booth with up to two (2) chili entries. A booth entry also has the chance to win the Judge’s Favorite Booth Decorations Award, so get crafty and creative! A booth will be a single 6’ table which is encouraged to be decorated, so get crafty and creative. 3. Contestants are responsible for supplying all of their own utensils and products related to their chili submission and maintenance of its proper temperature for serving. An electrical outlet will be available for each entry and a crockpot is recommended. Spoons and cups for use in serving chili to the general public and judges will be provided. Condiments will not be provided. 4. Each contestant must cook a minimum of eight (8) quarts of competition chili. A portion of this chili will be submitted to the judges and the rest will be for public consumption in provided 2oz cups with spoons. 5. There will be three (3) awards presented: The People’s Choice Award, The Judge’s Choice Award & Judge’s Favorite Booth Decorations Award. 6. Judges will score each chili based on aroma, color, consistency, and taste. 7. Each contestant is responsible for policing and cleaning up the area at the end of the day and removing all items from the area. There will not be an area for cleaning of dishes. No items shall be allowed to remain after the close of the Cook-off.
