DARIEN, IL — Hinsdale High School District 86 is making coronavirus vaccinations available to older residents, the district announced Wednesday. Hinsdale South and Central are serving as vaccination sites for employees and vendors as well as employees from the schools' feeder districts, the La Grange Area Department of Special Education and local village governments, according to a mass email from Superintendent Tammy Prentiss. The district said it also will be able to provide vaccinations to those 65 or older who live in Darien, Burr Ridge, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Willowbrook, Oak Brook and Westmont. The service will be provided free of charge, the district said. The district is expected to have about 750 doses of the vaccine that it will administer next Wednesday (first dose) and March 3 (second dose). This is part of the district's partnership with Osco pharmacy. Those interested in vaccinations are urged to fill out the district's form. The district asks that people only fill out the form if they know they will be available next Wednesday and March 3. For more information, email Prentiss at [email protected].
