Advanced birders delight! Join us on a car-based caravan tour of the birds of J. N. "Ding" Darling NWR. Advanced birders will follow a naturalist along Wildlife Drive while in the comfort of your own car. Meet at the flagpole in front of the Visitor and Education Center to begin your bird identification tour. Arrive before 8:20am to check-in and confirm your attendance. If not confirmed by 8:20am, your spot will be given away. This tour is limited to 10 individuals and you must bring your own binoculars and scopes. Once all participates arrive, all will follow the naturalist into the drive with free entrance for the program (no free re-entry). This program is scheduled for 1 1/2 hours but feel free to leave when you've had your bird fill! All CDC social distancing guidelines will be followed including wearing a mask and staying 6 feet apart.
