LARPD Seeks to Fill Vacancy on Personnel Commission LIVERMORE – The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) Board of Directors is seeking applicants to serve on the Personnel Commission. LARPD is accepting applications through 5 p.m. Friday, February 26, for a volunteer position on the Commission. Personnel Commissioners are appointed by the Board to four-year terms. The Commission is a volunteer body that monitors and advises the Board on the District’s personnel policies, approves eligibility lists for the hiring of full-time staff, hears appeals of disciplinary actions and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on matters of personnel administration. The Commission meets as needed, but normally not more than once per month. Applicants must be a qualified elector of the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District.
