WRENTHAM, MA — Wrentham District Court announced Tuesday that it has closed temporarily due to COVID-19 exposure.
The courthouse will be cleaned during the closure and reopen on Thursday, Feb. 4.
"The Wrentham District Court is closed temporarily for disinfecting and will reopen on Thursday, 2/4," says the district's website. "A member of the Clerk's office who was last there on 1/29 has tested positive for COVID-19."
The temporary closure of Wrentham District Court comes after the state announced a 90-day plan for operations on Jan. 8.
The plan, which will last through April 5, includes staffing court offices at 50% capacity, adopting a phased approach to resuming jury trials, developing jury trial priority plans, and expanding remote operations.
