Hours and Shift Monday- Friday 8:30-5PM Pay Rate $16-17 Job Description The textile dye lab technician performs duties as directed by the dye lab supervisor. They will prepare fabric samples according to formula and process in lab dyeing equipment. The dye lab technician will prepare stock solutions and will calculate quantities to be used. They will be expected to learn simple color correction and make adjustments to the formula in order to match the color standard submitted by the customer in a timely fashion. They will learn and utilize color management software to produce accurate and reliable data and interpret results of tests. Job Duties/Responsibilities Roles and responsibilities • Preparation of dye and chemical stock solutions • Pipetting dyes and auxiliaries for color matching • Calculating quantities to be used according to formula • Filing as needed • Maintain work area and equipment • Cleaning of glassware (pipets, beakers, etc.) • Cutting fabric swatches to be used • Communicating with customers concerning lab dips as required • Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines • Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor or management Job Requirements Qualifications and Requirements • High School diploma (or equivalent) • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office programs • Ability to take direction • Accuracy and close attention to detail • Must be able to work closely with others Contact Information JobSource Downey 8041 Florence avenue Suite #102 Downey CA 90240 App hours: 8AM-3PM *Bring two forms of I.D* Phone: (562)231-5370 www.jobsource.com -- Make sure to call in to make an appointment--- KS-3155
