Data Cabling Technician

Description

The technician in this role must have basic knowledge of fiber optic and copper cable terms and concepts. Technicians are required to work on ladders and after proper training is complete, scissor lifts. Data techs will work in commercial settings, hospitals, school districts, and other locations throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Some travel may be required. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Pulling, dressing, terminating, and testing cable and fiber *Installing cable and fiber support structures and equipment such as racks, trays, fiber enclosures, and patch panels *Verifying cable routes, installing conduit *Mounting access points and some audio/visual equipment *Troubleshooting and replacing or repairing faulty wiring *Other duties as assigned BridgeNet Communications 1314 Stites Road Donna, Texas 78537
