*Please email resumes to the email address listed. Position: Crew Member Job Description: Provide routine lawn maintenance to residential & commercial properties. Also, be able to perform landscape maintenance tasks as instructed. This is currently a part time position which will require 1-2 days out of the week starting in March or April of 2021 (depending on when the snow melts.) If more days are desired please just let us know. Specific tasks required but not limited to: • Lawn mowing with push mowers • Weed whacking around trees, flowerbeds & other necessary areas the mowers can’t reach • Edging of driveways, sidewalks, & patios • Leaf blow grass clippings off of driveways, sidewalks, & any clumps of grass left behind on the lawn • Pull weeds from landscape areas & driveway cracks • Trim bushes • Remove leaves from properties in the Spring & Fall • Mulch Installation Requirements: • Valid Driver’s License • Ability to work 4-8 hour days or more (if needed) • Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis • Good customer communication • Ability to be on your feet for a majority of your shift • Ability to notice when there are equipment issues • Available to work Monday-Friday & Saturdays if necessary starting at 9am. (Reminder this is a part time position requiring 1-2 days a week. If more is desired, please notify us upon submission of your resume) • Clear & timely communication with the manager regarding work schedule and anything work related • Age: 18+ • No experience required but is preferred • Attention to detail of work being performed • Drive to dump site to dispose of yard waste (if instructed) Equipment to be used but not limited to: • Push mowers • Weed Whackers • Edger • Gas powered hedge trimmers • Back pack & hand held leaf blowers • Hand clippers • Chainsaw Benefits: Pay starts at $12.00+/hour (starting pay can be higher depending on experience & availability) and can increase significantly depending on gained experience & availability. This is a part time position with the potential for full time if desired. We are a growing company entering our sixth year of operation in the season of 2020. There is potential for long term employment & a management/foreman position if the desire and skills exist. You will have a lot of one on one time with the manager on the job to learn & further your experience. There is ample room for promotions and pay increases. We do not work Sundays unless the weather forces us to. The manager may buy breakfast & lunches. There is potential for year end bonuses as well. The employee will also be able to receive free lawn care at their personal property in terms of usage of equipment for basic maintenance services. Further Detail: We will require you to sign a liability waiver form upon hiring. We may run a back ground check but this will not make you ineligible for the position, eligibility will depend on your circumstances. We are seeking to hire 1 or 2 crew members depending on the availability of the crew member. If you are interested in this position and can only give 1 day per week do not let that deter you from applying. The ideal candidate however, will be able to offer 15-24 hours per week.
