Reports To: Warehouse Manager Position Information: Performs various duties in a warehouse environment including, but not limited to, order selecting, receiving, shipping, operating forklifts to load and offload product from trailers, pallet jacks, RF guns, etc. Palletizes and labels product for transit. Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and assists the Warehouse team as needed and assigned. Essential Position Functions:: Good pick rate while maintaining accuracy. Good attention to detail with high level of accuracy in all areas of work. Good attendance record, dependable worker. Perform repetitious work accurately and with mental alertness. Occasional overtime offered. Contribute to a clean and safe working environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Good attendance record,, dependable worker,. Knowledge of basic warehouse operations. Basic math skills. Basic English skills - reading/writing/speaking. Education & Experience: 6 months to 1-year experience in warehouse order selection, receiving, shipping, building a pallet of products, shrink wrap pallets. Experience with safety procedures in a warehouse environment. Forklift, pallet jack experience preferred, training and certification is available. Must be 18 years of age or older Job Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 70 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and reach with hands and arms. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, and turn in a safe manner. Exhibit manual dexterity and good hand/eye coordination to move freight. Work Environment: Warehouse environment, walking and riding on equipment. Climbing ladders. Constant temperature changes involving outside weather. Supervision: This position has no direct Supervisory responsibility. This position receives Supervision and direction for all assignments. In some cases, Supervisor outlines steps involved in completing assignments or standard procedures are available to enable the employee to work in a routine fashion. The end results of this work are frequently checked. Hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm with overtime as required.
