Lifetime Tea specializes in custom blending and private label packaging of premium organic teas and herbs. We have an immediate opening for a Production Worker to help support our continued growth. Job Responsibilities As a Production Worker, you will perform a wide variety of essential tea production duties that include: • Labeling packages • Filling packages with tea and herbs • Heat-Sealing pouches • Packing orders for shipment • Performing detailed Quality Control on all work Specific qualifications for the role include: • Reliable and on-time with a solid work ethic and commitment to consistent work attendance • Superior attention to detail • Ability to learn how to operate tea packing equipment Requirements for the Operations Production Worker position include: • Must be able to stand for long periods from time to time • Must be able to occasionally lift 10-30 pounds • Love of tea is a big plus! • High school diploma or GED • Must be flexible to work 5-6 hours per day Monday - Friday We are flexible to create a 5-6 hour shift that works best for your schedule ranging from 6:30am – 5:30pm. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour for the first 30 days paid as an independent contractor (no withholdings) paid weekly during the start-up period. After 30 days you will be eligible for a permanent part-time position and an immediate pay increase to $13.50 per hour. Review after 60 days for additional pay increase. After 30 days you will receive a $100.00 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of our start-up period if you transition to a permanent role. After 90 days we will offer a 401K with company match and other great incentives. Our facility is set up to maintain social distancing and a safe work space. Must wear face mask while onsite.
