We have an immediate need for professional Concrete Form Setters and Finishers in the Austin, Texas area. This is a full-time job with the company, not a temp job. Our client provides award-winning creative architectural concrete services to commercial and municipal clients through Texas and the southwest. They perform professional architectural installations with coloring, imprinting, staining, scoring, sandblasting and etching in turn-key operations on full depth pours, thin-set overlays, concrete micro toppings, and custom concrete polishing. Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Foreman, carries out assignments related to lay out, sets slab on grade forms, builds and installs wall and column forms, concrete placement, finishing, stamping, curing and cutting, based on the proper selection of equipment, materials and finishing sequence needed to deliver an acceptable end product. High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years’ related experience and/or training Ability to read, understand and complete job related documents and forms Know the abbreviated and common construction terms for the equipment and materials used Ability to work in a team environment Ability to deal with problems involving specific variables in standardized situations Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, crawl and pull Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, handing average weight objects up to 50 pounds Salary is based on experience.
