Description
We are an industrial supplyhouse located in Hewitt looking for a full-time CDL A of B driver. This position would be Monday through Friday. Hours will be 7:00am to 4:00pm with overtime available.
You would be responsible for daily pick-ups and deliveries in and around the Hewitt and Temple area. You will also be responsible for loading/unloading your truck and keeping a maintenance log. Most of our delivery trucks are standard size pickups with piperacks attached (not 18 wheelers), with the occasional need to pull a trailer for larger loads. Applicants should also be aware that when deliveries are slow you are expected to help in the warehouse (pulling orders, putting up stock, etc.).
You MUST meet all the below criteria to be considered:
-Must have a current license in good standing. Prefer Class 'A'
-Must have a clean driving record
-Must be familiar with the Hewitt, Austin, and Dallas/Fort Worth area and be able to read a map
-Must be able to lift 70lbs
-Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug-test, and criminal background check.
