I will help you with this. Must have a valid driver’s license & insurance coverage. Our small family owned rental business is looking to hire a part time self-employed maintenance contractor to assist with move-outs and daily maintenance request. Hours will vary but normally around 15-20 hours per week, dependent upon turnovers. ** To be considered, please submit a resume along with professional references & include your contract hourly rate. Maintenance Contractor – Job Duties -- Must provide own tools • Plumbing Issues (Leaks, install faucets, repair drains, etc..) • Diagnostic & Installation of water heaters • Electrical Issues (Replace breakers, replace bulbs, • Diagnostic testing of water softener, rebuild motors, repair as needed • Unhook dishwashers & install • Repair & replacement of garbage disposal • Diagnostic & minor repairs to furnace • Replace furnace filters, air conditioner filters & hood exhaust filters • Carpentry work (replaces trim, replace window sills, varnish wood, etc..) • Drywall & painting (minor repairs) • Order parts as needed • Pick up supplies as needed • Install blinds & screens • Vinyl repair – (seal tears, replace floor tiles) • Apartment turnovers – Be present with manager to inspect units at move-out, make list of work needed in unit & follow through on work needed --sometimes a tight period of time) • Dryer vents – Clean out annually • Be responsible, work independently w/ no supervision, communicate with Tenants as needed Job Types: Part-time, Contract Salary: $23.00-$25.00 Per Hour
