Job Description Windermere Pool Services is looking for a full time repair technician to join our growing team. It doesn't seem to matter how many employees we hire there is always more work to do than we can handle so we are, yet again, expanding our repair team. Our growing workload means job security for you and full time work guaranteed year round. Our ideal candidate has done this job before for a minimum of 2 years (verifiable), has an intimate knowledge of residential pool equipment in Florida (ideally central Florida), is self motivated, organized, open and outgoing and puts customers first every single time. we are a 5 star rated company so if you can't be the person that helps us retain and build on that reputation this job is not for you. Job is Full Time, Monday through Friday Starting at 7:00 am and typically ending around 3:00 pm (40 hours) Every weekend off Some employees work later and earn overtime Pay rate is negotiable based upon experience Your typical work day would consist of arriving at our warehouse at 7:00 am to load up your van, collect your work orders for the day, and participate in any company meetings. From there you will be out troubleshooting / repairing / installing residential pool equipment on your own until the end of the work day. at the end of the day you will return to our warehouse, clean your work vehicle, re-order stock and turn in your work orders to the operations manager for billing/follow-up. Van, tools and equipment are provided and are to be returned to the company warehouse at the end of the day (not taken home). Because the job involves driving our vehicles, you must have a valid Florida Driver’s License with a good driving record. (We will check your motor vehicle record, so the more information about your driving record you give us up front the more likely to get approved by our insurance). Job Requirements Our ideal candidate for this position: Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable experience working on residential pool equipment. Must have active Florida drivers license Have a good driving record Must be punctual Must have excellent customer service skills and speak fluent English Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot pool systems to a high standard Must be reliable Must be well-presented Must be a team player as all of our employees work together and help each other out at work when needed Must be able to pass a pre-hire background check and random drug tests.
