Division: MFI Stone Reports to: Granite Operations Manager Department: Operations Classification: Full-time Exempt Position Operations • Cut stone samples with wet saw. • Pull and package orders for shipping and installation. • Make stocking product sample boards. • Label and/or finish all sample material. • Assist in the loading and unloading of slab containers and/or trucks. • Maintain samples in showroom or office for the sales team. • Monitors quality standards with all aspects of job responsibilities. • Reviewing orders before and once you arrive at properties to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. • Providing excellent customer service, answering any questions, and handling any complaints from customer service, sales team, and leadership team • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record • Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to operations and sales. • Maintains truck or van by completing preventative maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs. Inventory and Warehouse Duties • Ensures efficiencies with each order pulled and staged • Assists with offloading of all shipments received in the warehouse and placing all shipments in the designated areas in the warehouse. • Clearly labels all products received in the warehouse with appropriate labels or barcoding materials. • Accurately notates all materials pulled for orders on paperwork and submits daily • Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, cutting/fabrication machines, and workstations neat and free of debris/trash. Communication • Responsible to create a productive department through written and verbal communication. • All correspondence must be in a professional manner • Promotes a positive work environment. • Continuously works to improve internal relationships with fellow team members, manufacturer’s representatives, and vendors REQUIREMENTS: Scheduling: • Employee will be required to work at least 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday is the work schedule; however, employee will be included on the Saturday rotation for installation management if applicable. • Employee will be required to attend all mandatory meetings/events as communicated by immediate supervisor. Physical: • Ability to work on multiple tasks • Attention to detail • Pleasant and clearly understandable phone voice • Ability to lift and carry 10+ lbs. • Ability to operate computer and other equipment in office • Ability to operate forklift and other equipment relating to flooring installations • Ability to sit at a desk for more than an hour at a time • Ability to bend and stoop in order to file or shelve • Must have sufficient mobility to move around office and warehouse • Must be able to move about to visit customers routinely • Ability to drive in vehicle for long periods of time and make numerous stops • Ability to work indoors and outside in varying temperatures Certificates and/or Licenses: • Valid Drivers License • Forklift Operators License
