I'm a disabled Veteran (Army) and I'm in some trouble with my car. I bought a car about 6 months ago and it broke down a few weeks ago. The dealership told me that it would cost 2600 dollars to fix. I didn't have the kind of money so I put an ad on Craigslist asking for a mechanic to help me out. I found one and he said he could fix it for 500. He's had it for about 3 weeks and he told me the block was also cracked. He said he could do everything for 1000. I've paid him that and still haven't gotten my car back yet. He keeps asking for more money but I just don't have any to give him. I've got a job where I have to drive around in my own car all day.. so I've been renting a car for 3 weeks so I won't lose my job. With the amount of money the car is going to cost to actually get fixed.. renting a car for weeks upon end.. paying my rent... I'm flat broke. I was looking for someone that could donate a car to mif you live near dfw or sell me one for really cheap so I can catch back up. It doesn't have to be anything fancy.. just something thats reliable. I can make payments or whatever.. I fix computers for a living so I could do some computer work for you if need be. I don't know who else to turn to. Please help me.
