Logistical Support Assistant Level IV

NAPCA needs a U.S. citizen 55 years of age or older (PL-98-313) to work under the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program, for the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Pacific Ecological Systems Division (PESD) in Corvallis, OR.
Qualifications Required:
- 55 years of age or older and U.S citizen.
- Minimum two years of experience in property inventory and logistics.
- Ability to maneuver up to 50 Lbs. and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and dust.
- Competent in MS Word, Excel, and use of business machines.
- Willingness/Ability to learn EPA specific software.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide logistical support for physical property of the Pacific Ecological Systems Division of EPA, Office of Research and Development.
• Organize/Manage EPA storage areas: Recommend solutions to problems and develop strategy for best methods of storage.
• Maintain inventory of storage areas: Assist the disposition of excess property. Manage disposal with public and other federal agencies. Develop strategy for best methods of disposal. Collect, sort, and package recyclable materials.
• Manage/Reorder of office supply: toner cartridges, USB drives, label tape, etc.
• Maintain spreadsheet of surplus property as required by EPA policy.
• Clear and organize offices.
$12.72 per hour / 24 hours per week. Temporary year-to-year. Holidays, vacation, sick leave, self-paid dental insurance. EOE.
