Home every other night Sunday evening-Friday. Commercial Driver Needed - Class A License (10 or 13-speed semi truck) We are a small fast growing company, looking for a southwest/southeast region driver that has the ability to drive a tractor-trailer with the capacity of at least 80,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. Requires commercial drivers' license. * Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. * Maintain logs of working hours * Must follow state and federal regulations * Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods * Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. * Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. * Completely read bills of lading to determine assignment details. * Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes. Requirements: * Must know how to drive a manual 10 or 13-speed semi truck * Driver license (Class A) * Two years verifiable experience * Clean DMV record
