Mutual Materials Company operates in four states, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, in addition to British Columbia, Canada. POSITION SUMMARY The essential duties of this position will be to ensure only good quality product is being produced and packaged. This position will assist with the loading and packaging of product onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory. This position is available during multiple shifts. Strong opportunities for advancement for the qualified and responsible candidate. JOB REQUIREMENTS Follow all safety procedures and participate in the plant’s safety committee. Understand units of measure, and be able to perform general mathematical equations. Must be detail, safety and quality orientated. This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching while standing. Must be able to work quickly, while standing, in an extremely fast faced environment. Physical capacity to lift up to 75 pounds on an regular basis Ability to work independently Willing and able to work overtime and handle varying work hours. Prior experience working with manufacturing machines, being mechanically inclined, or previous mechanical experience (i.e. capable of recognizing machine issues and irregularities) is a huge plus. Previous forklift experience/ certification is a plus.
