To apply send your resume to: [email protected] Housekeeper Job Summary: The Housekeeper is generally responsible for fully maintaining the cleanliness of the property from the vacant units, to the office, model, and the laundry rooms. The housekeeper is responsible for completing tasks that ensure the community meets all safety standards, community appearance and that all apartments, and amenities are up to the Urban standards. The Housekeeper prepares vacant apartments for new residents and always demonstrates a high-level of customer service. The Housekeeper will perform all their duties in compliance with all federal and state laws pertaining to the apartment industry including Fair Housing. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Ensures all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Urban standards. Prepares apartments for new residents by removing trash and other debris. Completes all administrative requirements and forms accurately and in accordance with established company deadlines (i.e. time sheets, checklists, etc.) Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies. Notify maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager on any damages, deficits, and disturbances. Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. Check supply levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety. Be aware of any company-related practices. Delivers and promotes excellent customer service and always supports the resident retention and service goals of the community. This may include assisting with set up of Urban Communities sponsored events. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow instructions. Excellent time management skills. Resourceful, organized and attention to detail. Collaborative, team player, positive attitude and able to multitask. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience with property management or similar industry preferred. Prior experience in housekeeping. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb stairs. Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time.
