Locally owned Label Printing Company located in the Pinemont/290 area is seeking a Warehouse Worker with potential to grow into Warehouse Lead. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30am – 3pm or 7:30am – 4pm, but can vary slightly. You will receive paid holidays + personal days after 90 days of Full-Time employment. You MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Will need to be willing to work occasional overtime, and have reliable transportation. Previous experience required. Responsibilities include: - Inspecting incoming raw material and document defects, debris, shortages, etc. - Accurately identify, move and process various products and materials - Able to understand, scan and utilize barcode scanning for inventory control - Able to accurately manage product inventory and conduct physical monthly inventory count - Ability to work independently with minimal assistance - Ability to complete work according to priorities and within a timely manner - Able to follow both verbal and written instructions - General warehouse duties - Load/Unload trucks using a pallet jack and or forklift - Palletize product - Gathering raw material from warehouse and delivering to 4-8 presses at a time by placing it in staging area - Attention to detail while organizing/sorting/and supplying materials - Attend to other areas and work at a very fast pace when needed - Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations w/in the warehouse. - Complete all other duties and tasks as requested by management. Requirements - High school diploma or GED equivalent - Prefer 1+ year of experience. - Prior manufacturing experience is preferred. - Able to lift 10-15 lbs. continuously and lift up to 50+/- lbs. occasionally - Use hands/wrists/shoulders continuously in controlled movement - Proficient understanding of computers and phone/mobile devices (used for inventory management) - Physically able to bend, lift and move around and stand for entirety of shift. - Read a ruler accurately down to 1/8” at minimum but prefer down to 1/32” - Comfortable with a detailed process and working at a very fast pace - MUST pass drug and background check Compensation DOE
