Locally owned Label Printing Company located in the Pinemont/290 area is seeking a General Laborer for Finishing Department. Seeking Full Time, Part Time and On-Call workers. Company’s business hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 5pm generally, but can vary slightly, your shift would fall anywhere within those basic business hours. You MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Will need to be willing to work occasional overtime, and have reliable transportation. No previous experience needed, we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities include: - Inspecting materials for defects and debris. - Rubber band finished rolls as they dispense from turret rewinder and/or box finished rolls at packing tables. - Box and package items including palletizing those cases. - Build boxes, stock cores into feeder bowl and dispose of waste at station. - Label finished cases per specifications provided. - Able to follow both verbal and written instructions - Safely use a hand pallet jack when needed. - Shrink wrap packages as needed and scale stacks. - Work in other areas of the plant as needed and work at a very fast pace when needed - Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Complete all other duties and tasks as requested by management. Requirements: - Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. - Able to lift 10-15 lbs. continuously and lift up to 35+/- lbs. occasionally - Use hands/wrists/shoulders continuously in controlled movement - Physically able to bend, lift and move around and stand for entirety of shift. - Comfortable working at a very fast pace - MUST pass drug and background check Pay rate DOE
