PART-TIME Greenhouse Packer

Element Farms is looking for punctual and reliable PART-TIME Packers to help us pack our pesticide-free, safe, and delicious greens and ship them out to local stores. As a PART-TIME Packer, you’ll work with our packing team in our packing area, where the music is always bumping, and help hand-pack salad greens that will ship out to our customers. Packers will work with greens that have already been harvested by our harvesting team and delivered to the packing area. You’re a great fit if you're ready to work! Warehouse, food service, or factory experience a plus but not required. This role is ideal for high school and college students with free time after school or a flexible school schedule. The greenhouse is operational Monday - Saturday 8 am - ~6 pm. Part-time shifts are 8 am - 2 pm or 2 pm - ~6:30 pm. At least 2 days per week is required. Tasks include: -Packing greens -Weighing packages -Sticking labels/stickers -Counting cases -Adhering to food safety -Maintaining a clean work environment -Working in accordance with all safety regulations of the greenhouse packing area Attire: -Layers! Our packing room is a cold room so layers are a must! -You must wear a hat, a baseball cap is preferred -Long hair must be tied back -Closed-toe shoes required -Shirts must cover full shoulders; NO tank tops Requirements: -A reliable way to get to work -Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs -Ability to stand for large portions of the day COVID-19 Information: -PPE available (masks, gloves, etc) -Element Farms sanitizes surfaces throughout the day -We adhere to food safety protocols Compensation: $12 / hr
