Resort Management is seeking a full time Maintenance person. Resort Management is one of the largest and fastest growing locally owned and operated Community Association Management firms in Southwest Florida.
To be effective, you will be skilled and hard-working, a self-starter with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidates’ talents. You will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including maintaining green spaces, identifying the need for repairs, responding to clients’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment.
Job Duties:
Keep the building and grounds in a clean and orderly condition by examining on a regular basis for needed repairs, maintenance and cleanliness
Perform or arrange for general building fixture repairs
Wash and clean pool, pool deck, tables and chairs
Light plumbing: faucet, ceiling fan, light fixture, toilet etc.
Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
Keep equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
Provide a variety of cleaning services to maintain a pristine environment in common areas and all buildings
Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Requirements:
Must be a self-starter
Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment
Open to custodial duties as needed
Extremely organized with good communication skills
Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
This position will start at 20-30 hours/week, with possibility to grow into a full-time position.
