Let me tell you a little about us and the positions we are looking to fill…. We install, repair, and maintain conveyor systems, mezzanines, racking, stretch wrappers, pallet stackers, and guarding in warehouses all over the United States. We work with Amazon, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Costco, Amway and many more companies. We are currently working in Indiana, Illinois, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Michigan. Our jobs range from 2 days to 5 months. Global System Installers has been in business since 2002 and our office is in Sand Lake, MI. We are a small business, so we do not offer health insurance or paid vacations; it is just too costly for us. We do have 401K & company matching options. At this time, we have more projects scheduled then manpower, so we need to hire an additional 3-5 people right now. Our starting rate is $13-$14 with little to no experience and our Crew Leaders are earning $17-$22hr. You will get a Performance Review after 90-days as well. We are happy and eager to work with people who lack experience, if you have an initiative to learn, have respect for authority, and are on-time & ready to work every single day. We need people willing to travel because most of our jobs are out-of-town. Your hotels/fuel/flights will be covered by us as well. Additionally, you will receive an extra $35 a day when you work out-of-town, to cover your food, etc. We bunk two employees per hotel room, but our female workers get their own room. We are a very laid-back company, but we expect our employees to be PUNCTUAL, READY & EAGER TO WORK, FLEXIBLE as plans often change based on customer requests, TEAM PLAYER, RESPECTFUL, and possess a GREAT WORK ETHIC. We also encourage our new hires to have a tool bag with some hand tools (I have a list that I could send you) at the beginning of employment.
