Pipefitter: Busy HVAC construction employer is looking for a Pipefitter for full time employment with benefits, per below: Primary Job Responsibilities • Experienced pipe fitter for commercial/residential installations and repairs of HVAC equipment and piping systems for heating hot water, steam, chilled, condenser water, refrigerant and condensate drain piping up to 12" Qualifications • Operate equipment such as lifts, beader crimper, brakes, shears, and hand tools. • Coordinate installation with other trades for efficiency. • Inventory and order material as needed. • Works well with others. Position Requirements: • General knowledge of materials and installation experience • Ability to work in lifts and ladders (safety equipment provided where required). • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. • Ability to work in various environments - cold, hot, tunnels, roof-tops. • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus • Willingness to work overtime or modified schedule if the project requires. • Consistent attendance • Ability to solder, braze and thread pipe. • Welding knowledge a plus • Ability to read blue print drawings • FDNY cert of fitness • FDNY fire watch certificate • F60 • G60 • OSHA 10 hour Other: • Wages: Hourly - depending on experience • Benefits: Benefits available once established • Job Type: Full-time in Payroll
