Join award winning photographer and Master of Light Jason Lanier for a 4 hour lighting and posing workshop at the AVC Camera Store in Miami! Join award winning photographer and Master of Light Jason Lanier for a 4 hour lighting and posing workshop at the AVC Camera Store in Miami! During this workshop Jason will lead a 3 part training session where he goes over the following lessons: Part One- 4-5pm: Lighting- In Store Lecture. During this portion Jason will share examples of shooting natural light, using diffusers and reflectors, off camera flash and LED lighting. Jason will give examples of when photographers should choose to use which type of lighting and also how to use them together to create the best results for the lighting environment they want to create. These examples will go from the simple and clean looks to the very dynamic full lighting sets and everything in between. Part Two- 5-6pm: Posing and Lighting Demonstration- The posing section of the course will be a live demonstration with models at the AVC Camera store where Jason will teach you the fundamentals of his posing system. This will be followed by a live shoot where he combines the lighting tips he shared with the attendees during part 1 with the posing taught during part 2 to bring it all together to create a beautiful composition. 6-6:15pm: Break and set up for group shoot Part Three- 6:15-8pm: Group Shoot with Models- part 3 will be a live shoot with models where the attendees will have the opportunity to shoot with the models in a group environment. This will give them the opportunity to utilize the lessons learned during parts 1 and 2 to create some lasting images for themselves. Jason will remain on site shooting and fielding questions from the group to assist them in any way possible. The team at AVC camera always has great models, cars and sets to make these shoots incredible. Combine that with the eccentric creativity of Jason Lanier and it's guaranteed to be a night you will not forget. Please note: It does not matter what camera or lighting system you use in order for you to attend this event and to learn.
