Miami-Dade Property Management Apartment Maintenance Technician Job Description: Operate a company truck/van to visit rental properties for repair and maintenance purposes. Maintain grounds for 80 unit apartment complex in Homestead, FL. Pick up trash on the grounds whenever you notice it and keep area around dumpsters clean. Keep common laundromat clean. You will be responsible for mowing the grounds and tending to any gardens. You will be responsible for resident service calls such as plumbing, electrical, air conditioning a plus. You will be responsible for getting vacant units ready for market by removing junk and furniture, painting, repairing, installing blinds, and cleaning the unit. You will be responsible for major renovations as needed of tilework, showers, bathtubs, flooring, windows, doors, and kitchen cabinetry and counters. Driving to about 80 other scattered single family, multifamily, and condominium units throughout mainly Miami-Dade County with a few in Broward Country. Visit vacant units to perform an inspection of what repairs need to be made to get the unit ready for market and begin working on those repairs. Track and record the work you do and how much time it takes you to complete it. Go to suppliers like Home Depot to pick up supplies as needed. Ability to climb tall ladders to access ac units on the second floor roof a plus.
