We need 1 or 2 people interested in developing their skills in construction and remodeling. YOU MUST SHOW UP TO WORK NO TIME AND PUT IN A HARD'S DAY WORK. That's all we ask of you in exchange for endless training and eventual advancement in the company. Work Schedule: 1. The work day is long- you work from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. 2. You will work 44 hours a week, Monday through Thursday. 4 hours of OT. 3. YOU GET FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY OFF! 3 Day weekend. You will be expected to purchase tools as you develop your skills. (PDG Tool Program is available to those who qualify.) We have a very strong family culture at PDG. You've got to fit in around here to be successful. We have a 2 week "trial period" to find out if we are a good fit for you and you are a good fit for us. It is our goal that in 1-2 years the person who fills this position will be trained and loaded with an inventory of tools to run their own job on our jobsite- and to train the next person (just like you) to do the same. You will receive hands-on training and experience in basic plumbing, basic electrical, counter-top/cabinet installation, carpentry, flooring, drywall, paint, framing, and much more. You have to have a valid driver's license with no more than a combination of two speeding tickets/accidents and no DUIs in the last 3 years. You have to have a smart phone with GPS on to operate our Paychex app for clocking in/out. SNOW REMOVAL is an "on call" job we all do around here. No one is excluded from snow removal and it can happen at any time of the day or night- you are required to be available and show up when it snows. Other perks to working here...
