WEYMOUTH, MA — Weymouth firefighters responded to a house fire at 18 Governor Winthrop Lane on Sunday morning. The blaze began just after 8:30 a.m., according to the Weymouth Fire Department's Twitter page, and was extinguished around 9:30 a.m. The fire department said crews were able to contain the flames to just the garage area. No further information has been released.
