Job Summary: The candidate is responsible for maintaining customer equipment in a safe manner. The technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of customer trailers, containers, chassis and other equipment. Technicians must be able to complete all fleet maintenance processes relating to mobile maintenance and ensure that units meet customer requirements.
Job Description: Key Responsibilities • Drive to customer locations and make repairs on units in a timely and safe manner. • Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner. • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year experience in trailer maintenance and repair and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to speak and write in English strongly preferred.
What the average day will look like : Report to a dedicated location at a specified shift time. Inspect and estimate new units for repair to begin the approval process. Repair previously approved units. During the shift you will be on call to potentially migrate to other locations to perform Road Service for dedicated customers and then return back to your dedicated location.
