Our specialties include commercial asphalt maintenance and repair, concrete install and replacement, and new construction services. We are currently looking for a Concrete Superintendent to work at our Fort Myers location. The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for: -Training and Supervising the Foreman -Performing tasks involving physical labor on commercial sealcoat, crack-fill, patching/paving and striping projects. Executing profitable sealcoating, crack fill and striping projects. Manual Labor will be required. -Operating small equipment such as skid steer, backhoe, power trowel, etc. -Using hand tools: ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools. -Equipment cleanup and maintenance -Inventory Organization. -Assisting in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices. -Lead and assist crew members to make sure a clean job site is always maintained, tools and equipment are properly used/maintained and accounted for, projects are executed to company standards while ensuring high-quality standards. -Complete all required paperwork to properly track daily production and crew accountability. Problem solve and correct issues/problems as they occur. -Organize and coordinate the daily activities of all crew members, equipment and utilize corrective action to keep the project on time and within budget. -Overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, ensuring that the crew works to job specifications and follows the plans. -Monitor and perform daily site inspections to ensure the project is being constructed as designed. The Concrete Superintendent will have to provide a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures as well as follow OSHA regulations. Requirements -Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Concrete (sidewalks, driveways, curbing) -At least 3 years of experience leading a crew -Valid Driver’s License (Class A CDL is a plus) -Clean Driving Record -Ability to lift 60 pounds -Must be able to measure, layout and perform striping projects -Must be able to run sealcoat projects, spray sealcoat and operate all equipment involved with sealcoating -Must be able to patch and operate all equipment involved with patching to include skid steer, roller, tack wagon, backhoe exc.
