Public Works Commissioner Kelly Williams said late today that the winter storm that hit Wilmington Sunday afternoon and is projected to last through early Tuesday is affecting sanitation collections for a second day in a row, forcing a change for the week. Trash and recyclables will now be collected on the following modified schedule.
Wednesday, February 3: East of I-95 trash collection Thursday, February 4: West of I-95 trash collection Friday, February 5: East of I-95 recyclables collection Saturday, February 6: West of I-95 recyclables collection Follow the City of Wilmington's storm-related announcements via the City website at www.WilmingtonDE.gov and on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor via #SnowWilmDE.
