We are a growing residential remodeler in Austin and are getting more and more business every day. So, there is a lot of growth potential with this position. We currently have anywhere between 3 and 6 home renovation projects going at any given time. We need someone trustworthy who can start at $15/hr (plus mileage) and do whatever is needed: demolition, clean up project sites, run errands, etc. If you are trustworthy, are willing to do whatever we need and prove yourself a little, there's a good chance that in the near future you would be given more responsibility. You must have your own transportation. Having a truck would probably move you to the top of the list. We will pay for your mileage for any work related errands. It would be helpful if you had some basic hand tools and some practical construction experience, but this is not required. We'd prefer to find the right person and show them what needs to be done rather than hire someone with a lot of experience who isn't a good fit with our team. A lot, but not all, of our projects are in Northwest Austin off of 183 between Mopac and 620. But we also occasionally do some in other areas: Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville, East Austin, Central Austin and West Austin. We are unlikely to do many projects downtown or south of downtown.
